Polish Landscape

Travelling to Poland guarantees a succession of surprises and discoveries. It will also almost certainly make you love this old country of old Europe, shaped by centuries of glorious or tragic history. The country that has never lost its identity or the treasures of its culture, preserved by the faith and persistent pride of its people.

The traveller, regardless of his origins, is always spellbound by the astonishing diversity of places and landscapes of the six regions of Poland, stretching over 312683 sq. km. Beauty and contrasts, picturesque sites and emotional places... how to choose?

The Baltic Sea to the North, Poland's motherly protector, stretching endlessly its beaches of fine sand. This is also where Gdansk, the pearl of the Hansa, is located.

To the Northeast, the enchanting Mazurian Region, the land of a Thousand Lakes, offers the fauna and flora of its untouched forests, preserved for centuries. Nowhere else it is possible to see bisons in their natural habitat.

Mazovia in turn had inspired Frederic Chopin, one of Poland's best ambassadors, to create most of his greatest works.

Having travelled through the boundless plains of Wielkopolska, one reaches the feet of an impressive range of mountains: the Sudetes, Bieszczady and Tatras, which culminate at 2499 metres.

Traveller friend, if any hesitation remains, join us for a traditional meal, which will become truly unforgettable once you taste the bison grass-flavoured vodka.
